• Automated application of protective wax and motocoat layers on metal parts.
• Even, dry-to-touch finish for clean handling and dependable corrosion protection.
• Designed to fit into an existing surface-treatment line as a clean, repeatable final step.
The KOSHIN Automatic Waxing and Motocoat Station is an automated finishing system designed to apply protective wax and motocoat layers to metal parts. By automating the application step, it provides even, consistent coverage that helps protect components from corrosion and wear while reducing manual handling on the production floor.
Wax and motocoat finishes are widely used across the metalworking industry as a final protective layer for parts that need to stay clean and corrosion-free during storage, transport, and service. Compared with traditional oil dips, modern wax and motocoat products leave a thin, dry-to-touch film that is easier to handle, less messy on the production floor, and friendlier to downstream assembly steps.
These coatings are commonly applied to fasteners, stampings, springs, and other high-volume steel components, typically after cleaning or surface preparation. Automating the step removes much of the variability that comes with manual dipping or spraying, supporting consistent product quality from the first part of the shift to the last.
